So I was taking a social anxiety test to see if I might have it, and one of the suggested forms of therapy at the end was group therapy.
group therapy is actually really helpful. been there, done that. Sure, its nerve racking at first, but EVERYONE in the room feels like that and its all very supportive. You start to realize how you arent as fucked up as you thought you were because everyone has issues. At least thats what it did for me.
In order to help your social anxiety, you need to challenge it. Believe me, it helps A LOT.
Group therapy is one of the only things that helped me deal with and understand my illness. Try it. You won’t regret it (and no, you can’t go once and say it “sucked”, because it will suck the first time, but you need to stick with it)
