I'm SO GLAD you're getting into Radiohead. They are such an amazing band. Did you know that Thom Yorke is vegan?! He literally can't get any better.

I've wanted kids since I was little too but more of an adopt kinda guy, I grew up adopting dogs for my birthday haha but I seen martian child awhile back and he said something like..."people argue everyday if they're ready to bring another child into this world but how can you argue with the logic of loving one thats already here?"
yes that’s true. I would love to adopt, but I do want a child of my own. I want to feel what it’s like, i want to experience pregnancy. Some people don’t understand that!

what are your opinions on hunting/fishing? i'm a long-time vegan and consider myself an animal rights activist, however i think it's better if someone is willing to do the 'dirty work' instead of the disconnect of buying pre-packaged meat. thoughts?
i definitely think that if people still hunted for their meat, the world would be very different. i obviously don’t agree with hunting or fishing though, but i know what you mean when you say people should do their own ‘dirty work’

hey! and thank you so very much! I’m a very nuturing/motherly type person, but according to the horoscope dates, i’m actually a leo/virgo.
I say that because I was born on August 23rd, which seems to be the ‘deciding’ day for both of those signs, if that makes sense. I’m not sure what i am with the date change now though. if i had to pick which one i had more characteristics with i think i’m more of a leo? I don’t know, i don’t believe in horoscopes! they shouldnt define who you are (in my eyes)

I agree with you about animal exploitation. Besides, most domesticated dogs wouldn't know how to survive very well in the wild. I wanted an owl there for a while, but I'd only take one if it was injured and needed a good home... I guess it all depends on the situation.
I remember my parents getting this bird when I was really young and I was holding it on the drive home, threatening to release it, until they told me it probably wouldn't survive successfully out there anyway. And they're surprised I'm a vegan now. Haha.
Anyway, this is really disjointed ask... just wanted some share some things lol.

what would you say is the difference between animal rights and animal welfare? which do you support?
i support animal rights (i consider myself an abolitionist vegan). although, i do own pets, and animal rights is against all forms of exploitation. i don’t see how i’m exploiting my animals since i give them a great home etc. i see animal welfare as a less extreme approach if comparing the two. animal welfare in my eyes is about giving animals the best life possible, but not stopping the exploitation. i think everyone is in favour of animals being treated well and living in good conditions, the problem with animal welfare is that welfarists miss the whole point about how animals should be treated equally to humans.
i hope that doesn’t offend anyone, but that’s what i think.
